We went for a walk at the canal today. It should be easy. There's a parking garage that you can park in and it walks you right out onto the canal. The path behind the zoo is open and it's really shady. It's nice out. BUT then I got there and it was super crowded in the convenient parking garage, I walked on the path behind the zoo out but then my sense of symmetry got to me and I thought we should walk around the block, which is much sunnier, and it was steaming hot by the time we got halfway through and Maria hates being in the sun so I ended up carrying her for a while. At least she gets fresh air, I tell myself.
