That damned pool has a hole in it! Mike taped it so we can at least use it, which is great as Maria has been waiting a loooong time to get in there.

You just never know how she's feeling. Ha! I took a million pictures of her the other day, on the slide, so I'm going to post a lot of them. She is pretty expressive, right? She's a good subject and she is really starting to play to the camera. "CHEEEESE!", she'll scream, running at me at about 100 miles per hour, "CHEEEEEEEESE!"

Ooh, she had a good time today. She played with all the kids that came over for Veronica's party. They all happened to be boys and she was in HOG HEAVEN. She was a real bossy pants and they were all pretty sweet and patient with her, especially my friend Marita's son, Will. He is the oldest of the bunch, at 10.5, and he was really great with her.

Friday

We are both crazy by the end of the week, but especially weeks like this, where I and Anthony and Maria have all been sick and we've been kind of trapped in the house. My God, can this child repeat herself. I never want to hear another word again. She has really knocked it out of me. She is napping shorter and shorter so that we spend even more time together. I know that I will miss these days but right now I can't imagine how. She's cute in those shorts, though, right? I bought those shorts at Target on sale, for like $1 each or something. These are 2T's but I bought 3T's and 4T's too.

Fierce!

She is super fierce, right? I know she'd get in trouble for this picture on America's Next Top Model, though, because it looks like she only has one leg. Plus her diaper is showing. Ha!

So nice!

That's what she says about everything, "so nice!". I have been sick and she's been pretty sweet to me, in her own way. She kisses me and says "Mommy no feel good?". She doesn't CARE, exactly, but it's nice that she inquires.

Fridge

Ooh, she is a crazy thing! She was standing in the fridge, which I would normally not allow, but Anthony was standing by the door and they were sort of playing peekaboo and he was laughing. He hasn't been laughing much the last week or so, so I let it continue! Maria is ... man, I would love to say what a blessing she is, or how much fun she is to be around, but - I mean, she is a blessing, sure. She is a miracle and a Child of God! So maybe God understands her better than I do. Because I am a mere mortal and she drives me insaaaaaaane.
